Auditions

Audition Policies

All Stage 62 productions hold open auditions and anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition for our shows. The age range accepted varies by show and is determined by the production team. You do not need to be a current Stage 62 member to audition, though you must become a member if cast. (Learn more about membership here!)

No prior performance experience is necessary. All final casting decisions are made by the directorial staff of each show.

Stage 62 is a volunteer-based community theater. Performers in Stage 62 productions are expected to:

• contribute financially by selling ads or soliciting donations;

• contribute to the technical production of the show, including but not limited to set construction, props, costumes, front-of-house recruitment, publicity, etc.; and

• work the set strike of the show from beginning to end.

Stage 62 is a volunteer-run community theater company, and these are all vital aspects to any Stage 62 production.
