An hysterical musical comedy (written by Larry Gelbart of M*A*S*H fame) and winner of six Tony awards, including Best Musical and Best Score, City of Angels takes you back to 1940s Hollywood—a world where femme fatales in flimsy negligées square off against rugged, hardnosed private eyes—and film noir dramas rule the silver screen. The fabulous Cy Coleman score combines bebop jazz (a la Manhattan Transfer) with big-band sweeping Broadway showstopper tunes.
