Stage 62 presents Monty Python's SPAMALOT

Stage 62 will hold open auditions for MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT on April 9 and 10 from 7:00 - 9:30 pm in the Studio at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall. Callback auditions will be held as needed on Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00 pm.

Performance dates are Thursday through Saturday July 20-22 and 27-29 at 8 pm, and Sunday matinees July 23 and 30 at 2 pm.

Auditioners should come prepared with 32 bars of a contemporary comedic song. A cold reading will be provided. Dancers should bring appropriate clothing and footwear.

Auditions and performances are at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall is located at 300 Beechwood Ave., Carnegie PA 15106.

Audition Policies

All Stage 62 productions hold open auditions. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition for shows at Stage 62. The age range accepted varies by show, and is determined by the director and the production staff. You do not need to be a current Stage 62 member to audition, though you must become a member if cast.

No prior peformance experience is necessary. All final casting decisions are made by the directorial staff of each show.

Stage 62 is a volunteer-based community theater. Performers in Stage 62 productions are expected to:

  • contribute financially by selling ads or soliciting donations;
  • contribute to the technical production of the show, including but not limited to set construction, props, costumes, recruitment of front-of-house works, publicity, etc; and
  • work the set strike of the show from beginning to end.
These are all vital aspects to any Stage 62 production.
